My First Magic

These were my first two real crayon magic creations: "My House" & "My Job". This is what it looks like. Colorful. Purposeful. And, once, fulfilled, scribbled over top with a huge "Got It!" or "Miracles Happen!" before being moved to my gratitude board.

I Wrote (in crayon, very important):
My Job Is...
good money. flexible. a regular schedule. $10+/hr. 4 hour days. 5 days/week
working with people I enjoy. using my natural talents. I feel appreciated & accomplished
I work hard, make a difference, and love what I do! money money.

I Got:
A job I never EVER would have thought of, that literally just fell into my lap shortly after putting my intentions and desires in crayon, after months of difficult unemployed searching. More than the hourly pay I had crayoned (thanks to the + in my $10+/hr), short work days, a regular Mon-Fri schedule, and totally flexible when I need it to be, just like I wanted. Most importantly, I really do work with people I love, make a difference, and absolutely love what I do in a job I never thought of doing before.

I Wrote:
My House
<$950/month with roommate or <$650/month on my own
inexpensive. easy payments $. utilities included! washer and dryer in apartment. fenced yard.
3+ bedrooms with roommate or 2+ bedrooms on my own.
a nice safe neighborhood with friends for my son. bright light and happy. cute.
nice, easy-going landlords. we qualify easily. available right away. moving in...now :)
perfect for us.

I Got:
Exactly that. Under our budget, utilities included, washer and dryer included, all the bedrooms we needed, cute and full of character, fantastic neighborhood for my son, awesome landlords, and we really did just walk in and say "this is it!" and we got it. Moving in I found my crayon magic and looked over it thinking "check, check, check, check..." I really did get exactly what I asked for and better. I think the little illustrations on that one helped the magical quality a bit, too :)

I call it magic...

...but "miracle" and "creation" would be more correct terms. "Vision board" is an appropriate and currently widely-used term. I call it crayon magic. I consciously decide what I want, I put it down in crayon, and Life brings it to me. That's how it happens! Crayon magic in the making goes on my Vision board, and crayon magic that has been fulfilled gets put on my Gratitude board. I love being an active creator of my own life! (which is totally not to say that I'm perfect. don't even start getting confused there.)
